Miklós ZOLTAI


Péter T. SZEMES, PhD

Péter Tamás Szemes received the M.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BUTE), Budapest Hungary, in 2000 and Dr. Eng. degree from University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan, in 2005. He was a Research Associate with the Department of Automation and applied Informatics, at BUTE. He is currently the Chief Technical Officer at Invention and Research Center Ltd. His research interest is mobile robot control, distributed sensory systems, and fuzzy-neural networks. Dr. Szemes is the member of IEEE, Hungarian Fuzzy Association, Robotic Society of Japan, and Integrated Intelligent System Japanese- Hungarian Joint Laboratory.
Dr. Szemes is the author of more that 50 scientific papers and book chapters.

Patrícia MÉREI


She is a project manager who has worked for Coventry University Enterprises Ltd (UK), INNOSTART BIC and Budapest Chamber of Commerce in the recent years. She holds a degree in Finance/ Accountancy and in Economic Sciences & Public Administration. She has participated in a number of EU and national scale projects. She was actively involved in the formulation of the Hungarian Biomass Association. She is currently responsible for international project coordination and management at FKK.

Anita NAGY


Katalin RUDNAI


Obtained her degree in 1994 from Budapest Business School in the field of Accounting. She gained experience in business administration and accounting as she was previously employed by the National Tax Authority.
Her job includes not only accounting tasks such as handling bank accounts, invoices, registering project costs but she also deals with human resources issues and general administration of the company.

Melinda GILÁNYI


Szabolcs SANDOLY


He received the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BUTE), Budapest Hungary, in 2002. He is major in Control Engineering and Robotics.
He is currently a development engineer at the Invention and Research Center Ltd.
His interest is wire and wireless communication systems, distributed sensory systems, microcontroller based applications and PCB design.

János HAMAR, PhD

He received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 1998 and 2002, respectively. His main research topic was related to power electronics and nonlinear control. In 2002 he worked for the German company Exendis Industrie-Automation in Freiburg as development engineer. He gained experiences in industrial project management and in product FMEA. Between 2003 and 2004 he worked as sales manager of the DataM Electronics Ltd. His main responsibility was developing the commercial strategy of the company. In 2004, he returned to the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and got a senior lecturer position. In the same year he accepted an invitation to the Utsunomiya University Japan and worked there as research fellow until 2006. His main research activities connected to e-learning, virtual laboratories, visualization of technical phenomena and software development for power electronics. Dr. Hamar has ~40 technical papers published in international journals and conference proceedings. He usually conducts yearly 2-5 presentations at relevant international conferences. Professional memberships: IEEE, IEE Japan, Hungarian Fuzzy Association.

Péter BARTAL


He earned his M.Sc. in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Timisoara (Universitatea Politechnica Timisoara), Romania, in 2004. Currently he is working towards his PhD at the Department of Automation and Applied Informatics of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BUTE), Hungary. Additionally he works as an electrical engineer at Invention and Research Center Ltd. His research interest include control systems, power electronics, computer vision and intelligent systems.

András BULKAI, PhD


He did his first degree at Loughborough University (UK) in Engineering Science and Technology and specialized in mechanical engineering. He received his BEng degree with honors in 2001. He stayed on at Loughborough University as a research student and completed his PhD in 2006. His main field of research was the finite element analysis and variation analysis of threaded fasteners. He also has experience in mechanics, dynamics and CAD design.

András HAVASI


László JAKAB


He is a graduate student at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics at the faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics. His fields of research are electromagnetic wave propagation, wireless networks and microwave measurements. He also has experiences in acoustics.
Currently he is taking part in designing microcontroller and FPGA based wireless systems at Invention and Research Center Ltd.

Orsolya KORDA


She is a graduate student at Budapest University of Technology and Economics in Environmental Sciences. Her major is environmental technologies.
She is currently a project assistant at Invention and Research Center Ltd.
Her fields of interests are environmentally friendly technologies and renewable energies.

He received his diploma in Budapest, 1991 as a software designer and developer. He has a vast knowledge of different software languages including, C, C++, J2me, HTML, Javascript, PHP and others. He also has experience in microcontroller technology. He has been working a software developer for different companies, ranging from games development to medical equipment programming. He is currently software designer, developer and webmaster at MFKK
